Our Genesis

GoodCompany is a minority-owned multi-cultural strategic and integrated public relations and special event communications firm that works with clients who are sincere and committed to increasing their presence and visibility among African American and Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) consumers.

What we know for sure at GoodCompany is that today’s consumers are more savvy and knowledgeable than ever before given the many information sources and social media outlets available to them. If brands are to compete, gain and maintain momentum in today’s marketplace, they must work to maintain their presence and work to stay top-of-mind on multiple levels.

Armed with a keen knowledge of traditional as well as out-the-box thinking communications professionals, we are well-positioned to help you raise the bar in reaching your goals.

Our Approach

GoodCompany’s approach is quite simple. In addition to participating in extensive, yet realistic, dialogue that defines the real challenges and helps mitigate risk, we believe that consumers are people first, and just like people, brands have personality. The conversations inform the planning and implementation of a successful integrated campaign and/or program by leveraging traditional public and media relations, social media, and event marketing by a team that is comprised of multi-disciplined professionals who are some of the best in the business.

Strategic

At GoodCompany, our campaign and project planning process is highly strategic. Through the use of our proprietary fact-finding model, we work with clients to help them fully understand the challenges they might face when thinking about engaging African-American or LGBTQ consumers. This includes, but is not limited to, cultural differences, community mindsets, potential risks and unintended consequences.

Integrated

At GoodCompany, we take the time to first learn our clients’ work, how they do it and what it is they want to ultimately achieve. We then work closely as a team to identify realistic goals and outcomes and how they can best be reached through the use of well-planned integrated strategies.

Thoughtful

GoodCompany lead clients from the idea conceptualization through the program evaluation and measurement stages. This ensures that all cultural, lifestyle, and demographic sensitivities are taken into consideration without jeopardizing brand equity. After we have worked as a team – client and agency together – we devise the best possible strategy to accomplish the set forth mission.
